সংসারের পর দৃষ্টি না করিত কভু।।

বয়সে বালক মাত্র যৌবনে উন্মেষ।

গুরুচাঁদ গৃহাশ্রমে করিল প্রবেশ।।

পূর্ণ লক্ষ্মী শান্তি মাতা দেয় পরামর্শ।

সংসার চালায় প্রভু মনে হয়ে হর্ষ।।

ভক্তগণ কত দ্রব্য হরিচাঁদে দেয়।

তার প্রতি হরিচাঁদ দৃষ্টি না ফিরায়।।

তবে ভক্তগণে জুটি সব দ্রব্য আনি।

রাখি দেয় যথা রয় জগৎ জননী।।

শ্রী গুরুচাঁদের দেখি অপার মহিমা।

বাঞ্ছা কল্পতরু প্রভু গুণে নাহি সীমা।।

ভক্ত দত্ত দ্রব্য প্রতি কভু দৃষ্টি নাই।

“কায় ক্লেশে আনি অর্থ” সদা ভাবে তাই।।

একদিন শান্তি দেবী পরীক্ষা কারণে।

হাসিয়া জিজ্ঞাসে কথা গুরুচাঁদ স্থানে।।

“প্রাণাধিক গুরুচাঁদ, শুন মম কথা।

অর্থ পেতে এত চেষ্টা কর কেন বৃথা।।

তোমার পিতার গুণে দেখ বাছা মোর।

অভাব গিয়াছে দূর কেটে গেছে ঘোর।।

যাহা আসে তা’তে সুখে দিন চলি যায়।

এত কষ্ট কর কেন কিবা এত দায়”।।

মাতার মনন বুঝি প্রভু কন হাসি।

“ভালই শুনিনু মাতা তব বাক্য রাশি।।

বল দেখি জননীগো সবে কোন গুণে।

এনে দেয় এত দ্রব্য তোমার ভবনে।।

কোন বৃক্ষে এত ফল ধরে গো জননী।

হরি-কল্প-বৃক্ষে ফল ফলে যে আপনি।।

কল্প বৃক্ষ মূলে মোর পিতা হরিচাঁদ।

অফলা জমিতে যিনি করিল আবাদ।।

তার গুণে আসে ফল, ফল তাঁরে চায়।

নিজে নিজে এসে ফল পরে তাঁর পায়।।

ফল মূল তুচ্ছ কথা তোমাদের ঠাঁই।

যাঁরে পূজে ব্রহ্মা বিষ্ণু তাঁর তুল্য নাই।।

তাঁহার ঘরণী তুমি জননী আমার।

আমাকে পরীক্ষা করা কিবা দরকার।।

তারিতে জগৎ জীবে আসিয়াছ দোঁহে।

তোমা না চিনিল জীব ভুলে মায়া মোহে।।

তোমাদের খেলা যবে শেষ হয়ে যাবে।

শূন্য ঘরে বলো মাগো ফল কে আনিবে।।

আমি চাই চেষ্টা করি সংসার গ’ড়াতে।

আমার যে হবে মাগো কাজ করে খেতে”।।

এত যদি বলে প্রভু মাতা হাসি কয়।

“তব বাক্যে বাছা মোর ঘুচিল সংশয়।।

যে ভাব তোমার মনে তাই যেন থাকে।

অভাব কখনো বাছা ছোবেনা তোমাকে।।

আর আশির্বাদ করি শুন বাছাধন।

তব ঘরে দিবে লোকে দ্রব্য অগণন।।

তোমাতে বড়ই প্রীত জনক তোমার।

আমিও পরম তুষ্ট এই জান সার।।

ভবিষ্যৎ জানিবারে বাঞ্ছা যদি মনে।

কল্য প্রাতে দেখিবে তা নিজের নয়নে”।।

এত বলি শান্তি মাতা গৃহ কার্যে গেল।

“কল্য কি দেখিব” প্রভু ভাবিতে লাগিল।।
